Light The Cannons are a four piece alternative rock band from all over Europe, based in Hamburg, Germany. Consisting of guitarist Chris and drummer Henry who are both from the UK and singer Nina and Flo the bassist hailing from Germany. The band channels diverse lyrical themes through an equally colorful musical palette, delivering anthemic songs with huge choruses, all filtered through a combination of dark humor and a healthy dose of pop sensibilities and punk energy.

The band’s lyrics deal with mental health, consumerism, sometimes love (and sometimes heartbreak), and everything in between, and musically they run the spectrum from slower, acoustic-tinged pop all the way to heavier, driving rock.

Light the Cannons have earned a reputation in and around Hamburg for their energetic live shows and their inclusive and open attitude towards music and creativity, with performances characterised by friendship, openness and a sense of humour as well as a clear love for the music they make.

The debut EP 'Welcome To The Family' is the perfect showcase for Light The Cannons, featuring in generous measures show stopping vocals, eclectic riffs and leads, raw percussive power and the kinetic thump of intricate basslines.
